what men say about tender:

"I find it astonishing and heartbreaking that in the year 2005 we still need to campaign to prevent the violent abuse of women by some men. If the No Slap Just Tickle gig and the publicity it receives can change the attitudes of just one abusive man then we will all have spent our time and money well and wisely."

About Tender

Who are we?

Tender promotes healthy relationships based on equality and respect. We invite all men, women and especially young people to actively prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Tender aims to enable young people under the age of 25 to develop positive attitudes towards relationships in order to challenge anti-social behaviour and prevent intimate violence. Related to this we intend to equip adults with the skills and resources they need to promote healthy relationships amongst young people.

about trust 2

TRUST is a project designed for young people to educate themselves about healthy relationships through the creative process of performance. Young people ages 13 to 18 work with actors, dancers, filmmakers, photographers and other artists to reflect on their vision of society free from violence against women and young people.

TRUST works in secondary schools and youth projects to challenge young people's tolerance towards abuse in relationships and to identify the early warning signs of intimate violence. Through the process of performance, young people are able to ‘rehearse the reality' of relationships, and to explore healthy alternatives to abusive behaviours.

Tender promotes healthy relationships based on equality and respect. Launched in 2003, we use drama and education to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence.

By working closely with young people, teachers and youth workers across Greater London, our projects empower young people to actively promote healthy relationships in their schools, Pupil Referral Units and youth centres.

A big thank you to all who helped us with our awareness raising campaign!

Daniel Rachel's single 'Let it Be Mine' reached number 14 in the Amazon charts. Over 800 people pledged to buy Daniel's single. We've had tremendous support for our campaign and owe our supporters an enormous 'thank you' for making it happen.

Our Borderline event was a fantastic success. Our musicians Daniel Rachel and Willis provided the best in original music and our comedians Terry Alderton, Kevin Day and guest Darren Ruddell had the audience in stitches. We had a great turn out and a good night was had by all.
